Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation (WMHSAC) is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a full time basis.

 

The role of Medical Receptionist is to support optimal access to services through the provision of client assessment upon arrival to determine priority according to the triage policy, provision of information to customers and visitors, the delivery of administrative services and support and the ongoing support of a safe and friendly environment.

 

About You

 

To be considered for this position, you must have:

 

  • Excellent verbal communication skills;

  • Excellent written communication skills;

  • Good interpersonal skills;

  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn the software used by the service;

  • Aboriginality is essential for this position as per the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.

Please note: In addition to the above skills and experience, the successful candidate will require a WA Driver’s Licence, and be required to submit a National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months) and WA Working With Children Check prior to appointment.
