Wirraka Maya Health Service
Wirraka Maya Health Service is an exciting, innovative Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service which offers comprehensive primary health, social support and training services to Aboriginal people in Hedland and surrounding areas. The organisation is currently seeking to fill a variety of exciting roles:
The Project Officer will be responsible for assisting young males to understand mortality, develop life skills & knowledge, safety, advocate for youth in the criminal justice system, and encourage labour force participation. The role will need to work effectively to assist youth to develop crucial life skills to prepare them for the future.
The Project Officer will be responsible for providing support, development and referral for children and young people to help prevent further child abuse, and help children and young people to heal. Working with young people and children, their families and communities to help children and young people use their culture to keep them strong and safe. The service provided aims to recognize the impact of family violence on children and young people and to bring about an inclusive healing process.
The EA will provide executive and administrative support to the CEO and the Senior Management Team and secretarial support to the Board of Management of WMHSAC.
The Transport Officer will be responsible for transporting our clients to and from medical appointments. This Casual position is full time from May 6th until Mid-July
To provide a high level of daily primary health services, public health initiatives and support at WMHSAC Health Service.
