The National Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) Conference, took place during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April this year, 2019.
Wirraka Maya's TIS coordinator Jodi Whitby attended the conference, to represent and promote the TIS programs run through out the year at Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation.
All TIS workers through out Australia were invited to attend, which took place at the beautiful Alice Springs Convention Centre. Through out the three days, Jodi Whitby had the pleasure and opportunity to meet other fellow TIS workers and also to share successful programs and there implementation processes.
