Clinical Programs
WMHSAC is a bulk-billing service, meaning there will be no charge for any health service received at our clinics. However, if you are referred to a service other than one provided by WMHSAC you may be charged a fee for that service. Your doctor will talk to you about that at the time of making the referral.
WMHSAC offers a transport service to patients and their carers who have a doctors appointment at our clinic or a specialist appointment with another provider (only if the referral was initiated by WMHSAC). This service is provided to clients who do not have their own transport or have no other means of attending their appointments. Transport is to be booked 24 hours in advance.
All patients will be seen by an Aboriginal Health Worker ensuring each patient’s observations are taken prior to seeing a Doctor. This also allows for non urgent patients who do not require GP consultation to be seen quicker.
Please note that our Clinic may close for staff development and team meetings, clients will be notified in advance of any closure.
