The Tackling Indigenous Smoking (TIS) team at Wirraka Maya Health Service held a family movie night on Thursday 31st of January in Shay Gap Park in South Hedland. The family movie ‘Hotel Transylvania 3’ was screened, which all the kids loved! 140 people attended the event. We had hot dogs and popcorn available for everyone that came along. The TIS team also had available a lot of prizes and giveaways based around Non-smoking education. The importance of reducing the impact of smoking and second hand smoking were the main focal health point.
