Wirraka Maya is guided by strong Aboriginal governance and leadership, ensuring our organisation remains accountable to community and delivers culturally safe, high‑quality health and wellbeing services across Hedland and the surrounding areas.

Our organisation is overseen by an independent Board of Directors, elected each year by our membership at the Annual General Meeting. The Board helps set the strategic direction of Wirraka Maya and ensures we meet our responsibilities and obligations under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth).
