Wirraka Maya provides full‑time dental services to support the oral health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people and families in Hedland and surrounding areas. Our dental clinic offers accessible, culturally safe care in a welcoming environment, helping people look after their teeth and overall health.
Good oral health plays an important role in general wellbeing. Wirraka Maya’s dental team works alongside our broader health services to support early intervention, prevention and ongoing care.

Accessing dental services
Access to dental services is available only through a referral from Wirraka Maya’s clinic. Regular clients and those with chronic diseases need to see a GP or another relevant health professional for an assessment of their eligibility and to arrange a referral.
Appointments and follow-up care are coordinated by the clinic team, who work closely with dental providers to ensure smooth scheduling and continuity of care.
